SummitBridge Finalizes Acquisition of 8 Insurance Agencies Across Three States

SummitBridge Insurance Solutions has announced the successful completion of eight agency acquisitions spanning Michigan, Texas, and Louisiana, further expanding the company’s national footprint and service capabilities.

While financial terms of the individual transactions were not disclosed, the company emphasized that the deals mark a strategic milestone in SummitBridge’s mission to deliver innovative property and casualty (P&C) and employee benefits solutions to a growing client base across the country.

Headquartered in Ann Arbor, Michigan, SummitBridge is a tech-enabled insurance brokerage known for combining localized expertise with a national platform that prioritizes technology, operational excellence, and customer experience. The eight agencies acquired will now operate under the SummitBridge brand and will gain access to the company’s advanced resources and infrastructure, including its AI-powered growth platform.

“All eight of these organizations bring tremendous local knowledge, client relationships, and strong reputations within their respective communities,” said Lauren Whitaker, CEO of SummitBridge. “By uniting under the SummitBridge umbrella, we’re creating a powerful platform that leverages both technology and personal expertise. Together, we’re better positioned to meet the needs of today’s clients in an increasingly complex insurance environment.”

As part of the integration, all employees from the acquired agencies will be enrolled in the SummitBridge Employee Purpose Plan, an equity-based incentive program designed to align team members with the long-term success and value creation of the organization. This plan reflects SummitBridge’s commitment to a shared ownership model that empowers employees at all levels.

The eight agencies joining SummitBridge include the following:

Michigan

  • Warrendale Insurance Agency (Livonia): Spearheaded by industry veteran Barb Kunina, Warrendale has established itself as a trusted provider of multiline property and casualty insurance services. The agency also offers specialized market solutions that cater to niche industries and clients with complex needs.

  • U.P. Insurance Agency (Iron Mountain): Led by Todd Lysinger, this agency serves clients across the Upper Midwest with a strong focus on commercial insurance and health benefits. The team is well known for its consultative approach and deep ties within the business community.

  • Entrust Insurance and Financial Services (St. Clair Shores): Dan LaLiberte and his team bring significant expertise in high-net-worth personal lines. Entrust has built its reputation on responsive service and sophisticated risk management solutions for affluent individuals and families.

Louisiana

  • Beasley Keith Insurance (Bossier City): Focused on middle-market commercial insurance, this agency is led by Gail Rinchuso and a seasoned team of producers and account managers. Despite being based in Louisiana, the agency has a significant presence and client base in the Houston area.

According to CEO Lauren Whitaker, these acquisitions mark a pivotal step in SummitBridge’s long-term growth strategy.

“Each of these agencies aligns with our core values of integrity, ownership, leadership, and service,” said Whitaker. “They also bring complementary capabilities that enhance our offerings in key areas such as commercial lines, employee health benefits, and high-net-worth personal insurance.”

A significant component of SummitBridge’s expansion strategy lies in its proprietary Lead Nexus platform—a growth engine powered by artificial intelligence. Lead Nexus enables predictive insights, more efficient client acquisition, and a seamless experience for both clients and partners. This digital advantage is central to the company’s value proposition as it scales nationally.

By integrating advanced technology with the personalized service of independent agencies, SummitBridge is positioning itself as a modern leader in the insurance brokerage space—one that honors traditional client relationships while embracing the digital tools needed to thrive in today’s market.

“As we continue to grow, our focus remains on delivering exceptional service, expanding our solutions, and fostering a culture where every team member feels valued and empowered,” Whitaker added.

With these acquisitions now finalized, SummitBridge strengthens its presence across the Upper Midwest, the South, and Gulf Coast regions, establishing a robust network of talent and clients across key U.S. markets.
